Collett expand warehousing operations with the addition of Mile Thorn Works & Perseverance Works to our Halifax, Bradford, Goole & Grangemouth storage portfolio.
Halifax Depot
Our Halifax Depot offers 2,615 sqm of internal storage with 1,180 sqm dedicated to heavy lift storage. This depot is fitted with 30Te & 32Te capacity gantry cranes, as well as a variety of fork lift trucks up to 15Te capacity. The remaining 1,435 sqm of internal storage is incorporated with secure racking ideal for palletised goods.
This facility is also equipped with container de-vanning operations including cargo handling, load securing and lashing. In addition, this depot operates a calibrated weighbridge facility up to 100 Tonnes to conform with SOLAS containerisation regulations.
Mile Thorn Works
Mile Thorn Works is located 0.7 miles from our Halifax Depot and offers 3,224 sqm of internal storage. This facility is equipped with two 20Te & two 10Te capacity gantry cranes and has drive in roller shutter access allowing cargo to be directly offloaded from the trailer.
Elland Depot (Perseverance Works)
Perseverance Works offers 3,792 sqm of internal storage and is fitted with multiple gantry cranes ranging in size from 5Te-32Te capacity. The facility has three high bays with 7.75m high eaves and a drive-in loading access via 6m x 5.5m roller shutter doors. The depot has an excellent main road connection to J24 of the M62 motorway.
Bradford Depot (Carr Lane)
Our Bradford Depot offers 5,663 sqm of internal storage and is located 2 miles from J26 of the M62 motorway. The 6.3m high facility is equipped with cargo lift and handling equipment up to 15Te capacity.
Goole & Grangemouth Depots
Our Goole & Grangemouth Depots offer a combined 40,000 sqm of external storage and facilitate the handling and storage of complex and overweight cargo. Both depots are equipped with 110Te capacity straddle carriers, 45Te capacity reach stackers and a range of fork lift trucks up to 28Te capacity.
All depots and facilities are fitted with 24-hour CCTV, secure access and night time physical security. Our warehousing and storage service also runs hand in hand with our transport and haulage service, allowing us to coordinate all requirements as a single point of contact.
We offer both long-term and short-term storage options. Our Warehousing Team can also provide order picking and stock control utilising our modern warehousing package.
