Collett's Projects Team coordinate all aspects of your delivery, from discharge of the vessel at port to transport, heavy lift storage (if necessary), heavy transport and final siting by hydraulic jacking & skidding.
Mindful of the co-ordination required to undertake these developments, your dedicated Project Manager will oversee the entire operation from beginning to end, whether it be for a single generator, a 500 Tonne transformer or multiple abnormal loads. Once on site our Teams can utilise our modular SPMT trailers and hydraulic jacking & skidding systems to position your generator or transformer within the restricted confines of the power generation facility. We operate a multi-functional synchronous hydraulic heavy lift jacking system capable of monitoring the position of the load between the four jacks to within a 1mm tolerance.
Not only used for the installation of new components, our Teams are also experienced in removing decommissioned generators and equipment from confined spaces.
