We're proud to support Overgate Hospice and the expert care their devoted nurses provide to local people in their time of need
Overgate Hospice provide the highest standard of compassionate and specialist palliative and end of life care for adults in Calderdale who have active, progressive, life-limiting illnesses.
Living with a life-limiting illness can affect a person in many ways. Overgate Hospice work in partnership with patients to provide care and support depending on their individual needs. All of their medical and nursing care is provided by a highly qualified and skilled team who work with patients to ensure they receive a high standard of care. Their team of doctors and nurses help to relieve a person’s symptoms, including pain management and fatigue, along with their Patient and Family Support Team who can help with adjusting to day-to-day life living with an illness.
Overgate Hospice's aim is to give the best possible quality of life, and provide support for families, friends and carers. Treatment is based upon an approach that treats each person as an individual including their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
